Missed period with birth control

So I have been on birth control (the pill) for 1.5 years now. My period is regular to the T. Between my packets and this app I’ve never been a day off until now. My boyfriend and I started having unprotected sex 3 weeks ago (prior to the we were using a condom). He pulls out and I’m on the pill so I thought nothing of it. I took a at home test 1 day late and it said negative. I am now 4 days late and there is ZERO signs of AF showing up any time soon which is strange because I can ALWAYS tell.

Last week my breasts did feel fuller and a little sore (which I chalked up to AF showing up) and the last 2 weeks I have been weirdly moody... irritated and little things getting to me which is NOT a normal PMS sign for me.

Should I wait until a week to retest? Is it often people test early and get false negative?
