Yesterday my 1 month old got her shot, and a band-Aid put over it. We left on over night and I don't know if it's because we left it on so long or if she's allergic

Looks like an allergy. Did they use a latex bandaid?

I get that and so does my son. For us it usually goes away in a few hours. Maybe try some coconut oil to make it go down a little faster or if it seems to be bothering baby. In the future, you can take the bandaid off when you get home, very little redness then.

I have an allergy to band aid adhesive (not latex!) and that looks similar to my reaction, which is pretty mild now that I'm an adult. I did fine with medical tape and cotton balls when I was a kid and now I just take off the bandaid before too long. If it's something I need to protect, I use a water block bandaid, which I'm not allergic to.

Latex allergy. Happens to me too. You can rub coconut oil on it or A&D; and it should clear.

I think Band-Aids just do that if they're left on a long time. I wouldn't worry too much. Keep an eye on it and see if it goes away over a few hours or so

This happens to me when I get a shot and have a bandaid. I'd call ped if you are very concerned, mine noticebly goes away quickly.
