Umm...should I worry? Rant about chickens...

My inlaws raise birds- right now they have chickens, ducks, turkeys and geese. The birds don't have their adult feathers yet so they are kept under lights. The problem I'm having is there's probably about 40 birds in the dining room right now! In past years, they had a designated area and I took care of them until they moved them out to the family farm. This year, I got to take a break because I'm pregnant and only "live" there when my bf is in town. I was told a few months ago that they weren't going to have them because they're trying to fix up the house for the baby. Well, the house is in no condition to bring a baby over and not only are there birds in the house- they are in the living room and he person in charge of caring for them doesn't clean out their bedding enough or something because the smell fills up the whole house now! I spent the night the last two nights (I go back to my room and close the door and open a window) but now my lungs kind of hurt. Also, I told my doctor they raise birds and he said as long as I'm not touching them or around them much I'm okay but I didn't know how big a production it was going to be in a space I have to walk through. The birds are going out this weekend (thank God) but I don't think I can bring the baby over (she's due in June) let alone go and visit myself.
