First Positive LH Test!

I'm 35 and trying for my first child. I've been a little worried that I'm too old to conceive and that I threw away my chances by not getting pregnant earlier in life. I'm super new to all the ovulation tests, lingo and overall TTC talk. I've been taking ovulation tests for the past few days, all negative until today. Am I the only one to get super excited to know my lady parts are still working, still ovulating and a chance of a baby is still there?
