When did you announce your pregnancy? 👶🏼

My boyfriend and I are having conflicting views about when to tell everyone we are expecting. We've told family and some close friends, but I'm curious as to when some of you ladies put it on social media such as Facebook or Instagram. So I guess my question is, when did you like really "officially" announce it to everyone and not have to keep it a secret anymore to anyone? 🤔 curious to see your answers

We've had multiple miscarriages and the last one was so devastating to me that I didn't wanna say a word to anyone until we were at least 13 weeks. It was the hardest thing to have to go back and tell people that we weren't having a baby after all and the worst part was the disappointed looks and statements from hubby's mom. ((She's been pushing for us to have a baby.. we've been pregnant more times than she knows and she's been pretty hateful about it to me in the past. It isn't my fault and I know that but it hurts.)) I have a few close friends and I don't have Facebook. I actually told my mom and two people at the very beginning. Didn't tell my best friend until I was 15 weeks. Hubby and I discussed telling his parents and opted to tell them at 8 weeks. It was so sporadic. Hubby is a very private person and doesn't share his personal business on Facebook so he didn't "announce" anything on FB. We had a gender reveal that was mainly for family at 17 weeks and we've just simply text, called or told our friends to their faces. People who are close to us and would wanna share in our excitement are the ones who know.. it's real obvious at 23 weeks that I'm pregnant so if anybody didn't know before, they'd know when they saw me. It's really a personal preference on when to tell.

I was so paranoid because I had several scares during my first trimester, plus my cousin had just suffered a miscarriage at 22 weeks after announcing on Facebook at 13 weeks. We told my parents and my sister at 8 weeks because I needed my mom and sister's emotional support and prayers. At 15 weeks we told my husband's parents and youngest sister (we would have done it sooner, but we wanted to do it in person and that was the soonest we could find time to fly to Oregon). We told the rest of our friends, family, and my sister's kids in person between 16-20 weeks, but I didn't make the official Facebook announcement until I was 32 weeks pregnant! I honestly debated whether or not to do a public announcement at all, but I figured my friends would post pics from my baby shower at 33 weeks and I would rather have people find out directly from me rather than from my friends.

Most immediate family and some close friends knew the day I tested within 2 weeks of me testing. We're waiting to tell the world (social media) with a family photo session and I'll be about 14 weeks then.

I waited until I was 7 months pregnant to announce it.

We told immediate family when we got the positive with our blood tests just to make sure. And then we told the rest of our family at our gender reveal at about 14 weeks. We were a little over 3 months.

We announced it at 12 weeks to the grandmothers with cards and ultrasounds. After that they were free to tell whomever they wished and we told some friends. 
My husband and I have not and will not announce on FB. We don't put our lives on social media.
