Where do you draw the line on what animals you won't eat?

I had alligator as an appetizer for lunch today with some customers, and we got on the subject of oddest animals we've eaten and what we wouldn't eat.

I've had my fair share of odd animals, but one spot where I draw the line that is regularly on a menu is veal. I don't like the practice of how the baby cows are treated, and I don't think it tastes good either, to be honest.

The other thing I don't get is how other countries eat dog. I can't even imagine. It breaks my heart.
