possible cold!!?!

does anyone know what is safe to take besides tylenol?? so what I thought was allergies has turned into a cold today. Not feeling good at all.

Oh man girl this is exactly what happened to hubby and me! I've been sick since Wednesday :-( Tylenol, Vicks, hot showers, chicken soup, and warm compresses on my face. Also honey tea has been a lifesaver. It sucks :-( Doctor also said Benadryl to sleep but that stuff makes me a zombie!

Currently suffering from a cold as well 🤧 I've been drinking hot water with lemon  and honey to soothe my throat. Robitussin DM is safe too. And salt water gargles as well. I'm going to try a Tylenol PM tonight to sleep because last night I got horrible sleep because my throat felt like sand paper. Hope you get well soon!

My doctor told me I could take mucinex. I took it a couple times at night to help me breathe and I also used menthol cough drops when the cough got bad, but tried hard not to take anything for the most part. Lots of rest and fluids.

My doctor told me that at this point I could take whatever I wanted in terms of OTC medications. He recommended Tylenol PM because he said sleep is the most helpful in getting over viruses.

I'm just getting over a cold, I asked my midwife and I'm only aloud to take Tylenol and Tylenol pm for at night and mucinex.

Maaaan I am probably gonna be in the same boat in a few days first my husband now my two year old I'm praying by the grace of God that I don't catch what they have !! My husband stayed home from work for two days and that's unusual because if it was minor sick he would've went to work now my baby is feeling sick and it's so sad because he's having a hard time breathing and I know he's having a crappy time but of course I'm here to take care of them at least to try to ease the sick and get them better but if I get sick sheesh I'm on my own !!! I have less then 5 weeks to give birth and when I gave birth to my son almost 3 years ago I was sick as a dog fever congested and having no sleep because I was taking care of him and trying not to get him sick while my husband slept !! I pray to God that this one just passes me by🙏🏼please lord.

I took benedryl for my cold and it was great because it knocks me out! Slept right through the sickness!
