Leaking fluid?

I'm 36+6 and had an appointment yesterday and I told my doctor I was concerned I was leaking fluid. Without checking she said it was just an "accident" and that when my water breaks it will be like a busting balloon. So I said okay b.c it only happened the one time that morning now it happened again td. Would I be crazy to go get checked?

Your midwife is so wrong every woman is different some don't break all at once some trickle away until birth go get checked as there is a risk of infection to baby

Trust your instincts and get checked if it doesn't feel right. Better safe than sorry.

I think it only becomes a concern if you put a pad on and fill it within one hour. If it's a slow leak, your babes head could be 'plugging' the hole. Try lifting your belly up and see if you get a trickle! If nothing comes out, my guess would be increased discharge or urine.
