Activities for a 5 year old ?

Bf little one comes over on weekend majority of the time he's over it's watching tv . We stick him out side with his big basketball and chalk but he never wants to be outside he will his by the stairs in the house and then we end up finding him . I don't even know what to do at this point . Make him play outside and don't give in or just let him watch tv 24/7 . He plays with toys in the house for 30 minutes but that's about it .

art projects. finger painting, making slime, sculpting with kid clay, coloring. Do things with him instead of just expecting him to entertain himself.

Go outside with him and do things with him. If he isnt wanting to do anything but watch tv take that away. He can earn tv time instead or you could simply just say like no more than 3 hrs a day of tv time after the 3 hrs are up tv goes off for him and he must figure out what he wants to do to keep entertained. when my step daughter is bored we have her do household chores she usually will figure out an activity she would like to do quickly if she doesn't like the chores we have her doing.
