Is it just a typical sex thing for guys to tell girls how tight they are during sex?

I've always wondered. I get told that from some guys during. I usually believe them because i'm quite petite, like smaller than a size 0. Pant size 23. But one guy mentioned afterwards that i'm just average down there, after he had told me DURING sex "omg you're so tight". However, that guy turned out to be a liar about a lot of things including the fact that he had a girlfriend (he said his phone wallpaper was his sister when I asked)..

Anyway just curious! What's your take on that girls?
