Midwife

I'm 26 weeks i never had a midwife or OB before as it's my first pregnancy so i don't have an experience before in giving birth to a baby am so afraid from the labor pain and i don't know what to choose an midwife or OB and also does Midwife give epidurals at home ?? And what if the baby's position is not right for virginal birth how the midwife will know that ?? And what if there's any emergency during labor with a midwife at home ??????

Of course i had an appt with OB and ultrasound but the thing is am thinking of switching to a midwife.
