How many ounces does your baby eat?

My little one is 6 months old and had been eating 5-6 ounces. Now she doesn't seem like that makes her full...but I don't want to over feed. How much are you feeding your 6 month old?

Are we talking about formula or breastmilk? Aren't the proportions different? I believe you give a baby more formula than breastmilk. We give 4 oz bottles about 3 times a day and then fed in evening 2- 3x, overnight 2x. Who knows if that's right.

My son usually only drink 4-5oz every 2-3hrs during the day but his bed time bottle and his 2am bottle are 7oz and he sucks them down. He probably drinks about 30oz a day but he is a big boy.

He's eating 6oz every 3ish hours. He sleeps most of the night but usually still takes one bottle at night. Minimum of 32 oz a day, usually around 36oz

my son eats 8 oz every 4-5 hours during the day but it depends how bad his teething is because sometimes it ruins his appetite. we introduced real baby foods last month soand he does great with it so it keeps him full for longer in between meals about twice a day and he loves the baby oatmeal when I mix mashed fruit in it. he weighs 18 lbs 6 oz now and is healthy. babies should be double their birth weight at this age from what my babies pediatrician said. Have you tried anything other than formula?

My about to be 7 month old eats 6 to 8 ounces every 4 hours. She has for a couple months now. She is on a 4 hour schedule from 6 am to 6pm because of daycare. She also sleeps completely through the night.

My 6 month old will take 8 oz after sleeping through the night about 9-10 hours and then usually eats 6 oz at a time through out the day along with purées. If baby is hungry feed him/her!! You know your baby better then anyone and if you notice an increase in spit up or your baby vomits, go back to less ounces more often! Hope this helps!

usually give 3oz at a time every 1 1/2 hours sometimes she'll want more but i usually start off with 3oz. she'll eat 22oz-30oz a day
