Period is SUPER HEAVY

It's been this way for years but I'm SO SICK OF IT.

I have to use Ultra tampons and a pad for like 3 days before reducing to just the ultra tampon. Cramps are HORRIBLE but the bleeding is just the worst of all. And even after the worst is over I have constant flow up until 6 days or so. And they say a heavy period will get the blood out sooner 🙄

So basically, what can I do to help reduce such heavy bleeding?? Seeing a doctor isn't an option because I have no insurance, so that also leaves birth control out the question because I can't really afford something like that as a 17-year-old with a part-time job.

Help?
