Is there something wrong?

Not TTC at all, but i've been reading a lot from you that "pull out method" doesn't always work. My bf and I have been practicing only that "method" for about 7 years and I haven't been pregnant. Do you think it might be something wrong with me or my bf? I think maybe we're going to have some problems when we decide to have a baby (?)
*It is not correct how i wrote it, i think i meant to say everyone says it doesn't work for too long,or that there's a very big chance to get pregnant with it

I don't think that it means that. I've been with my husband 7 years and we've only done the pull out method. when we decided to have a baby I got pregnant the first try. I was worried too though.

It's possible, for 2 years that's what my boyfriend did, we were 15-17, then I got on bc and after a long road I found out my tubes are blocked, so maybe there is something wrong, but maybe he's also really good at it 😂

Pull out method has a bad reputation, but the chances of getting pregnant if you are doing it right and making sure he doesn't come in you is fairly low. I also used that method for almost 4 years without problems before I got on birth control. I don't know yet if it's because of any problems we may have, but I have the same fear.

Pulling out has a terrible reputation but the fact is that its failure rate is similar to the male condom. The only method that "always work" is complete abstinence. Every other form of birth control comes with a risk of failure. The probability of getting pregnant using the pull out method perfectly should be (very roughly) around 25% over 7 years. If you have been very diligent about using the method, then there is no reason for concern. However, if you have taken many risks over the years, do not pull out every time, then the chances of you getting over 7 years would be much higher.

pull out method is not a safe way to prevent pregnancy. my best friend is a pull out baby (her mother is very open about that lol) maybe y'all have just gotten super lucky?
