Nightmare! Dream interpreter needed!

Hello! My name is Ky and I am no stranger to nightmares. I grew up having night terrors consistently and have had nightmares pretty much all the time. They are all horribly gruesome as well except for this one. The one I had about 15 minutes before writing this included me doing my normal routine, school work home and about half the week I leave to shop or see my boyfriend or what have you.

The nightmare: I was leaving my house and after locking the door I heard some sort of a demonic giggling from around the corner of my house so I crept down the walkway and a figure shot across my view and ran across the yard. Frightened I ran to my car and locked myself in while getting the keys in the ignition and I began to back out but he ran and jumped on the hood of my car and began to hit the windshield as if to break it and get in to me.

I'm very very shaken by this dream as it included my very creepy empty home and that always scares me in real life. I would very much appreciate a response and explanation to my dream and I will probably do more of these.
