is this my surge?

I'm terrible at these bc I know if the test line is darker then its positive. 
mine are never darker I'm lucky if they are truly the same color. 
SO.......

is this my surge or just almost? 
could be a stupid question but I'm just now getting serious about charting so I'm still learning.

This might be a surge!  This is what mine look like! May be a good idea to test twice a day, I test as soon as I wake up so nothing is diluted.  I would also recommend noon everyday.  Try to space it out if you test twice a day.

I don't think its gonna get any darker. 
I've never had a test line darker than the control, but as long as they're the same color its still considered positive right?

I'm only on cycle day 6 but I also had a positive opk September 2 then started my period and now it looks like I'm about to have another surge. 
I have short cycles but its also really unusual to me that I seem to a positive opk twice each cycle. one a couple days after a period and again few days before I'm supposed to start my next cycle. this confuses me.

this was as dark as mine got cd14 and smiley on cd 15 but strip got lighter and today cd16 no smilies and neg on strip
