Debating re amnio. Dr told me the nipt isn't 100 percent and ultrasounds can miss markers

What was the result of this? I am in a similar situation where the NIPT came back negative but we had a 3.3mm measurement on the NT scan. Considering if we should opt for amniocentesis...worried there could be something else wrong other than the most common chromosome abnormalities.
