Aspiring Writer
I've been writing poetry for a couple years now and have recently completed a short story about a girl who gets caught in the rain with a boy she's been in love with for several years. I've tried coming up with more ideas for short stories, but all my ideas seem like cliches and the same recited anecdotes. I feel like I have a unique writing style, but I'm still worried. Any experienced writers out there who have some advice for aspiring writers?
