Metronidazole

Has any other woman been prescribed this medication for bacterial vaginosis during pregnancy and what was your dosage? I *think* my doctor told me only 1 capsule a day for 7 days. But my pharmacist told me 1 capsule a day, twice a day for seven days..? I feel like the pharmacist would go by what the prescription said but I'm so confused. Each pill is 500 mg, so I'm taking a dose of 1g a day? Does that sound too much? I can't *call* my doctor bc it was an er doctor that I saw and who prescribed me the pills and I don't officially have a doctor until sept 18th bc I've just moved and switching doctors. I can't really call my old doctor bc she has no idea I've even been prescribed this as I'm currently transferring everything over. Just take the dose the pharmacist said? I'm honestly not 100% sure exactly what the er doc said but I think he said 1 a day for 7 days. I just don't want to harm my baby as I'm on another medication for nausea and vomiting. There has been no end of issues in this pregnancy. :(
