Confused with my period.

Ive been ttc and its alil tmi but i know your body temp is suppose to be low aswell as you cervix when youre on your period. I checked my cervix and it feels really high i almost cant reach it and my bbt is no lower than 98.5 . Its always ranging from 99 to 98.6 . I have my period today is my second day and it is medium yesterday heavy with clogs so im super confused. (Also it feels pretty closed i am a mom so its slightly open.)ive never feltbit this high even during ovulation .
