Any single mums out there?

Hey girls.

I'm a single mum, I've been seeing a guy for a few months and things are going well, he's great with my son also and their bond is just amazing.

Tonight my bf has messaged me, suggesting I should get a lock of my bedroom door (I have my own apartment) so that when things get frisky in the morning, my son won't walk in. Am I wrong in over reacting? I can't go to the loo in peace, without him having a melt down, however he's a clever boy and can do things for himself which leads me to believe he could do something to hurt himself if I was locked in my room preoccupied. Has anyone been in this position??
