Crib Sleeping...?

Question

Any other moms of April babies putting baby in another room to sleep yet?
My baby hates his bassinet now & won't sleep in it.

Our son (born 4/9) has been in his crib in his room next door to us since day 1. There might be a wall but we're only about 10 feet away from him. Our pediatrician recommended this and it's worked really well for us.

We moved our son to his own room about a week ago. The first night sucked. But it's gotten better. We still cosleep half of the night, but last night he slept 7.5 hours without waking in his crib (first time!!!! He's never slept more than 5 hours and that was when he was a month old, he usually wakes every two to three hours)

I moved my daughter at 4 months because she was waking a million times in our room, me just whispering would wake her up. I was really worried about it but she's done great! It's literally 4 steps from me and we have a monitor. She still wakes a few times to eat but has no problem sleeping alone. The first few nights she took a while to fall asleep but now she rarely needs me to soothe her.

My LO has been sleeping in her crib in her room since she was 2 weeks old. We tried a bassinet, rock n play, swing, etc. and literally the only place she would sleep was her crib 🤷‍♀️ For the first few months I slept on a cot next to her crib then I eventually moved to our guest bedroom which is like 5 feet from her room and now I've been sleeping in my room and using a monitor for about 5-6 weeks.

My baby's been in his crib since about 8 weeks old because he became too long for his bassinet, haha, but we moved his crib into our bedroom. I prefer having him with us, it gives me some peace of mind although I still wake up and peer over at him several times per night. 😃

Our girl wanted more space, so we moved her in her crib, and she loves it. She has been there since 4 months. And she is almost 5. We do have a video monitor and it is right next door. Since she is only wanting 1 feeding a night now, and goes straight back to sleep, I don't mind getting up.

My daughter out grew her bassinet a couple of months ago. We moved her crib into our bedroom. She couldn't stay in the bassinet and I wasn't ready for her to be in her own room yet.

I moved mine to his room and crib at 4 months and it was a game changer!  We all sleep better now!

My first daughter who will be 3 years old in November went in her cot in her own room at 3 months old and my second child baby girl born in April 2017 who will be 5 months old this Friday went in her own cot sharing a bedroom with her sister at 2 months old. Both slept though the night ever since. They go to bed between 8:30pm-10pm and wake up between 7am-9am everyday. I still check on them twice in the night just for peace of mind.
