Sometimes I feel like I'm too passionate

So for starters, I'm 23 years old and have my bachelors degree. I will be going for my masters soon, in hopes of fulfilling my dreams of become a journalist/reporter. I often find that I'm scared that guys will be intimidated by how goal oriented I am. When I was with my ex, he didn't like the fact that I spent a lot of time focusing on my school work and would get mad. Now I'm trying to get back into dating but I'm scared that other guys will also not support me in my dreams because their "too big"...does that makes sense.... often times I feel like if I didn't have goals guys would be more attracted to me... weird way of thinking
