Housewives, does your husband ever make you feel bad for being a housewife?

Mamabear

Sometimes my husband likes to tell me I should be doing more with my life. I'm raising his children and I enjoy it. He's never tried to force me into the work field and financially we don't need me to work. But he likes to give me these talks where I feel like they're kind of insulting me. I love being a homemaker and being with my kids who are all too young for school. I don't really know what he wants from me sometime. Not everyone wants to be a CEO. I enjoy raising a family. Is that so bad? I'm not depressed or anything like that. I've worked before as a home health nurse and made great money but I ended up quitting when I got pregnant 2 yrs ago. I didn't like working much. I missed my baby too much. He's always saying he wants me to improve myself. It almost feels like insults to me. Maybe I'm being too sensitive?
