allergies

Has anyone every had a child with dog allergy and have dogs?

Does anyone know what can be done about it?

My son is 1 and has been getting hives alot and has red watery eyes alot so we got him tested for allergies and he came up highly allergic to dogs.

We have 3 dogs and could possibly be ok with gettikng rid of 2 but 1 we have had a long time and it would be heartbreaking so I'm looking for alternatives. Is it possible to have dogs with a dog allergy???
