Breast pump help?!

I am a first time mother and I'm trying to set up my registry for my baby shower next month. Literally all the breast pumps look painful and intimidating. I just need a few tips on what to look for in buying or even suggested brands? Thanks in advance!

First I would check with your insurance most supply a free pump for you to use. 
For my insurance they gave me a couple of online places or places to go In store if you want and you could put in your insurance and such and it would tell you what your insurance offers. I got the medula pump, they are a great brand. Sonata is also a great brand too.

I second checking with insurance first! I was able to choose between 7 different ones and went with the lansinoh smart pump. I was able to order it online and didn't pay anything for it.
