How long until you can play with nipple piercings?

I got my nipples pierced about 3 weeks ago and I'm just wondering how long my boyfriend and I should wait until he can touch/ lick/ etc them. We want to make sure we're not doing it too early and being detrimental to the healing process! Thanks!

A few months at least. Ideally you want to wait until theyre fully healed which can take 6-12 months.
