What do I do?

I found out I was pregnant a week ago. Today I know I had a miscarriage. I didn't even get around to calling a doctor or anything like that. According to my LMP I was 5 weeks 3 days. What should I do next? I've been wearing a pad, bleeding really heavy, clotting and cramping. Please no rude or sarcastic comments. This is the first time and it's been pretty rough.

It's up to how you feel, I had a d&c; mainly because I didn't want to pass the baby naturally as it would have been way more painful.

There is medicine you can take (so you have another option) I'm currently taking it😞. So sorry for your loss! Here's the info on it the dr gave me if you're interested. I think the main fear of passing it on your own is to make sure you passed it all. So if you think you are all set naturally I would definitely call a dr to make sure you did so you don't get an infection or other issue from some small part leftover.

I had a miscarriage today/yesterday. My midwife said to wait until Wednesday and we will do an ultrasound to see if my uterus emptied and if not, she'd give me medication to finish the process. Wednesday, I announced my pregnancy to my in laws. Today is Friday and I'm waiting for my miscarriage to run its course. If I were you, schedule an ultrasound Wednesday and if then see if you need a d&c.;

I had my miscarriage at 6 1/2 weeks...I did not require a D&C.; I went to my obgyn just to make sure but he told me that typically a D&C; is not needed this early on due to stage of development. hope this helps. ♡

It sounds like your already doing it naturally. Usually you get a D&C; when your body doesn't recognize the loss yet which means no cramps or bleeding yet.
