Babies in Restaurants
At what age did you start ordering food for baby, as in, not simply sharing yours?
My babe now is 9 months old and wants to eat everything. I usually bring him a bottle and a pouch of baby food, but with his growing interest in real food, I've been sharing with him as well.
I went to Waffle House with babe and my brother yesterday who has been begging me to go with him 😂 I ordered a waffle and if I would have let him, baby would have eaten the entire thing 😖 needless to say I was hungry, but also surprised that he was so interested in this new food. It has no syrup, butter or anything on it 😟
So I'm wondering when it's appropriate to really get him his own plate. We don't do it much at home because I have enough baby food for a small army, and I feel better knowing he's getting LOTS of fruits and veggies, I let him taste whatever I'm eating, but I don't give him his own portion, and he's usually content with his own things, but when we go out to eat he really notices that he's missing out on something 😂
