Membrane Sweep 🙋

So as of today , I am 38 weeks & 2 days preggers. I had a regular follow up and my doctor advise me that she is going to do a "membrane sweep". Painfully experience I ever felt but I read articles of it and understood why she did it and what it does. Now, I recently went to the bathroom and notice I am "dripping" a brown thick discharge 😕 . The reason why I say "dripping" is b/c when I wipe, I did not see anything but when i looked in the toilet, i seen drops of it. Could this be my mucus plug or something else ?
