Pre-Eclampsia

So I had a routine appointment today. They took my BP and it was higher than it's ever been. 142/66 at the beginning and end of the appointment. I blamed it on being anxious because I hate doctors offices even though I'm a surgical tech. He said my protein was normal when they tested my urine. He's having me come back on Monday for a nurse to check my BP again and then another visit with him on Friday next week. So thank gosh he's concerned and keeping up with it. He's concerned I have preeclampsia. So my question is, does anyone or has anyone had this condition? This is my first pregnancy and I'm 24 weeks.
