I just want to add that my boyfriend has a daughter from a one night stand. She didn't think the kid was his so she never told him until she found out the other guy wasn't her father, after she was born. So my boyfriend had a daughter that he didn't know about until she was a month old. To be honest with you, this killed him. He stepped right up and was there for her from the day he found out she was his. BUT he will NEVER get that time back. He never heard her heartbeat or saw her on and ultrasound, just had a month old infant thrown into his lap. She's 5 now and to this day he still is upset with her mom for not telling him sooner.
