Hubby and I are having our one year anniversary of marriage in October and instead of doing something awesome then we decided to go to Washington in December because we love history.

Basically, I am beyond excited. I've been there twice before, for school, but he has never gone. We aren't made of money, that is why we aren't going in October. I was wondering how would you plan out a trip? it's oyr first actual vacation besides our honeymoon and we didnt really do much on that. Our hotel had breakfast for us each morning so we dont need to worry about that. We also plan to walk most places or to rent bikes or mopeds.

I'm asking if yall have any ideas on how to be frugal and still have an awesome time? I'm super excited but I guess also kind of worried because I want it to be memorable and everything.
