Is anyone else waiting before TTC again?

Question

I've had 2 MC two months in a row (6.5 weeks and then 4.5 weeks), and I've decided to take a few months off from TTC to focus on getting healthier. My doctor told us to start trying again after 1 cycle & that my MC's weren't related to being overweight, but I feel like I need to take a few months to get healthier. I don't want to go through this again. Is anyone else feeling the same after multiple MC? Please feel free to comment below. I've felt a little conflicted about my decision. I want a baby!

I lost one Jan 29 at 12 weeks and one March 30 at 5 weeks. I didn't try this month and plan on trying in May. Sorry about your losses. I've had 4 mc all together it doesn't matter if it was 4w or 12w they are all horrible.

I had 3 losses in 10 months...I've been on a break from trying since December. It really does take a toll on us mentally and physically. I have gotten the ok from doctor to try again but I do not want to lose another baby either. I'm so sorry for your losses.

I lost my baby in the beginning of March.

I think the emotional stress of moving to a new state, away from all our family and friends, starting graduate school full time, and the financial stress of being on one income caused my miscarriage...

Due to all these stressors not seeming to dwindle anytime soon we are waiting 2-3 years (for me to be done with school, and hopefully we will move back to our home state, closer to family) before trying to conceive again.

It has been really hard, especially with my sister having a newborn (her daughter was literally a week old when I found out I was pregnant), and we dreamed of my husband and I moving back and all of us raising our kids together. She and my parents had even volunteered to watch my child while I finished my schooling so I wouldn't have to pay the $1200+ for infant daycare.

I'm so sorry to hear.  I think if your doctor says it's ok to try then go for it. If you feel more comfortable and confident if you wait until you're in a healthier position then that's ok too.  
Personally after 2 mc in a row (oct & april), I am going to hold off a few cycles or longer just to help myself mentally and emotionally.

We've waited two cycles so far. I would have loved to have lost weight during our time "off" but unfortunately that hasn't happened. Way too much emotional eating. I'm just glad I didn't gain anything. We have unprotected sex a couple times this week (I ovulate in 4 days) so it's possible I could get pregnant this month but probably won't happen. I don't think I'll try again tho this month. I lost my nerve. Every time I think I'm ready something happens to prove I'm not. I totally understand the conflicted feeling. I don't know if I can survive losing my baby again. Hang in there. It's so awesome you are trying to get healthier. It can only help. 💜💜

Maybe you have to go through check up to find the reasons of your MCs, and then try again. As for me, I found that one of my hormones was too high, it was impossible to have a healthy pregnancy with such hormone. Now I'm keeping it low with mess, I hope next pregnancy will be healthy.

I had 4 MCs, 
I only waited 2-3 monthes between them. This time I am moving to another apartment with in 3 monthes, so I want to wait untill I relax in my new Apt. Also my hasband and I want to make our life style more healthy. Plus, i feel that I went thro a lot latly, and I just want to give my self some time

Just lost my baby a month ago at 18w. Doctor said wait 2 cycles but we are gonna give it the summer-get healthier, eat better, focus on healing from our loss and see where we are then. Everyone's needs are different. We have two beautiful kids already and want to focus less on trying for another and just see what happens. I'm hoping to have more kids but I just don't know if I can go through this again..
