Period after ovulation

I ovulated last week and now 7 days later I'm on my period, a week early. Could this be a miscarriage? I read online in multiple places that you need to be 10-14 days pregnant before taking a urine test, I was at most 7 days pregnant and took one anyways and it was negative.

Same thing happened to me. I ovulated on day 25 per Clearblue fertility monitor and period arrived on cd 32. Usually I have 36d cycle. I am so frustrated. I guess I have a literal phase defect. Ttc the natural way but I may look into progesterone cream and vitex. Already taking B6. I have a history of PCOS many years ago. I don't want to go on metformin or clomid. Any advice?

Amy also what is ttc the natural way and the cream and other item you mentioned? We have been trying for 3 years and if those are over the counter options I want to try them.

What is luteAl phase defect? Metformin is prescribed for diabetes type 2 Amy.

Luteal phase defect (damn spell checker)

It's a full period. Implementation bleeding is only spotting. This is a medium to heavy bleed.

It could be implantation bleeding - around 30% of women experience this. If AF doesn't arrive in a week (whenever scheduled), do a HPT. Good luck and baby dust ✨✨

Metformin is prescribed for PCOS patients and for diabetics. Progesterone cream helps regulate your cycle and increase the luteal phase (time between ovulation and period).
