Progesterone-only pill

Is anyone on the progesterone-only pill?

If so, can you tell me whether it’s better than the combined pill in terms of side effects and effectiveness.

I’m hesitant on going on the combined pill as my family have a history of heart disease and breast cancer so I don’t think it’d be smart to go on it. However, I just found out today that the prog-only pill is something I could take instead? But I’ve heard that the side effects isn’t great.

Any advice? Thank you.
