Hi ladies! I would love to hear about any experiences you've had using either the Mirena or the Paragard copper IUD!

Considering having one placed next month. I'm currently 23 and in graduate school 4.5 hours away from my long time boyfriend and my family, and not on any BC. We've used the pull out method and condoms for 6 years, but the anxiety with them both is getting intense as a pregnancy now would be more difficult than ever. Looking to get something effective to protect us over the next two years. pregnancy right now wouldn't be fair to our families or a baby. Can't wait to have a sweet babe, but want to us to be ready to give it everything it could ever need. ❤ Thanks so much! 😘
