IUD help

i tired getting the IUD twice with 2 different doctors but couldn't because my cervix is too 'tight' so i'm back on pills, however i really still want the IUD. the dr told me she could refer me to someone else to see if they could get it in. i really wanted to but took it as a sign that i just wasn't meant to get the iud. i also thought that even if they got it in, it could just come back out.

i've had trouble staying on BC pills due to insurance and i FINALLY have it where ill definitely get these pills and be on them for a year. i know you aren't supposed to go off/on BC because the hormones will fuck with your body and become less effective(i feel like that's a myth though.. opinions?)

should i try for the IUD one more time or just set the idea back in my head and just stay with the pills? i want to try again but i honestly feel like i should just wait a little bit.
