My partner and I have been setting some savings aside for a rainy day and have just decided to spend some of it on a little weekend getaway for the two of us before the baby arrives.
Our next available weekend is a while away and I'll be 37 weeks along. We wanted to go away perhaps to Berlin but obviously it's not possible so we're going somewhere within driving distance.
Realistically, what sorts of activities can I expect to be happy and able to do? We like quirky little cabins, going for walks, places with a lot of character, etc so we're looking at Glastonbury but I'm not sure how strenuous the walking will be as I've never been. I've found a log cabin that looks perfect so worst case scenario we can just relax and play some cards, board games etc but I'd like to get out and about if possible.
Has anyone ever visited, and if so, what's there to do?
