TTC @ 35 - Diagnosed w/ PCOS today
Went in today for an ultrasound of my ovaries and sure enough the tech confirmed that I had the "string of pearls" surrounding my ovaries. I know it won't make pregnancy impossible...just requires a bit more strategy. Nobody likes hear that they're not totally normal, but I'm staying positive and strong about it! 💪🏽😤 On the upside, I'm kind of glad I had this condition when I was in my wild 20's. I'm sure this prevented a few potential "oops" babies back when I had a thing for bad boys 😱🙈
My gyne asked how many a kids I want to have. I told her 2 and she said it's time to get the ball rollin! Next steps are semen analysis for him and HSG test for me. If all is well, and no pregnancy after 2 mos of having the HSG test, she'll prescribe Clomid.
Any other over 35 PCOS AKA pregnancy strategist out there in the same boat?! Any PCOS pregnancy success stories?!
UPDATE: Found out SO has low count. I️ have him on Fertilaid for Men and Count Boost. Initially I️ was scared after getting the news because all along I️ thought it was only an issue w/ me that we were dealing w/. Then I️ did what I always do when I️ am scared about something, I️ RESEARCH. Thanks to Glow and some wonderful stories I’ve read on the internet of natural pregnancy still occurring w/ PCOS and low count. This reignited my faith. Staying positive and having faith!! A natural conception is in the making!! ✨❤️
