conceiving over 30

I'm 37 and trying for baby number 5 after a bout of cancer and a miscarriage last year. when I had my daughter at 30 I was told I was an "older mum " and right enough it was all kids with kids in the mummy groups. so after years of abusive relationships i fell in love with my best friend 2 years ago he's 40 and doesn't have any children and we decided to try for another before it's too late. I have to admit people haven't all been positive. I've been getting a lot of "you're too old" and "you're just a baby maker" but I always wanted a big family,I'm a good mum and both me and my fiance work hard. I was told at 17 I couldn't have children so I count every one as a blessing. just wondered about your opinions ? xxx
