Okay so I just turned 20 last month and my boyfriend turned 17 four months ago. We've been dating for 2 months now. And neither of us mind the age difference, but we recently became aware that his parents aren't happy with the arrangement. Any thoughts?

Respect the parents wishes. I wouldn’t be okay with it either. You’ve only been dating for two months, so it’s easier to end things while it’s early in the relationship. And if he really is the guy for you, by the time he’s 18 you’ll find your way back to each other. If not, you made the right choice sooner and saved the heartbreak. 
Either way, his parents are only going to be more disapproving if you choose to disrespect their wishes, which doesn’t help their case. If he really means that much to you, backing down until he’s 18 shouldn’t be a problem.

I had a friend get arrested because he was 19 and his girlfriend was 17. The girls parents found outand like called the cops it was this whole big thing ajd since she had sent him nudes they got him on child pornography. Its always just best to wait until theyre at least 18 man. Parents will do anything to protext their kids. If they really wanted to, if you two are having sex, they can get you on statutory rape.
