So a little backstory me and my now husband (we eloped in March on a whim, No one knows except for close friends as we didn't want to take away from our family ceremony ) have our wedding date set for September 23, 2017. We would have been engaged for over a year; last year during the leaf foliage season our friend agreed to go with us to Georgia (we live in Florida) to do our engagement pictures at a state park where the leaves changed colors. Well the night before she messages me and says she doesn't want to go, now mind you we had it planed for a couple weeks at this point and both me & my husband took off work. So after some arguing she agrees she will go, but low and behold 4:30am the next morning here we are again her refusing to go because her dad has the day off of work (she still lives at home with her parents, her dad is a local truck driver so he's home almost every evening but only gets one day off a week). So after much anger I decided to forgive her and move forward, fast forward to July of 2017 at my bridal shower, which again was planned out several weeks in advanced and she was given all the information on time and agrees to come, it's from 2pm-4pm. No sign of her anywhere, I tried texting but got no response until 3:30pm saying she had to babysit for her aunt because her aunt had an emergency she needed to deal with ( my confusion is you really want me to believe you didn't know you weren't coming until the bridal shower was 30 minutes away from being over?). So again I look past it because something things happen and you need to help people out, I get it. Fast forward again to September of last week and I ask if she would mind helping me with my makeup the day of (she's amazing at makeup) which she agrees and since she's off school Thursday I ask if we can do it then, but due to our recent hurricane Irma she was unsure what her schedule was going to look like for the upcoming week, no big deal, so I just asked if she'd let me know as soon at possible which leads me to today I

It was the final strike to me, I can't even stand the thought of seeing her on my wedding day anymore! It's so frustrating so in the nicest way possible I asked her not to come. Do you think I did the right thing?
