Can you like a guy before you even meet

So I meet this guy on tinder sometime in end July but we were both away for summer holiday and family visit somehow we keept the conversation alive . We talk a lot we have really good conversations about everything. We just have this good vibe . It feels crazy to me that we have such a connection before we even meet since it's something I've never had before and he has not as well. Have I gone mad or is there sense to this. . We will be going on our first date on Monday when his back from his work trip were both definitely looking forward to it( this guy has alredy used a we on me ) it's just so fast my emotions are all over this .
