i want to marry him...

ok so my hubby and i r high school sweethearts.. we dated in 1999 to 2001. he broke up with me cuz he "thought" i cheated on him and i NEVER did... so he got married in 2008 i moved bk to texas in 2010. i even tried to get bk with him a few times b4 i moved and b4 he got married etc. so i had found his fb account in 2010 and added him as a friend he didnt accept it till 2016. he got divorced in 2013, he finally accepted my friend request in 2016. after 8 yrs of being single no serious relationships or anything. we started talking for a yr. he appolized for what he did to me in high scholl and even said i sld hv stayed with u cuz i knew u wldnt ever hurt me. (im in tx at that point) he asked if i wld move bk to Washington for him and i said yes. so thats where we r i hv been here with him since may 2017. i asked him to marry me and he saidand i quote "I WONT EVER GET MARRIED AGAIN." i wanted to marry him after we both graduated high school.. how wld yall feel? and how sld i react to this??? im so hurt as he knkws i wld never cheat, hurt or do anything to him...
