How to send a check via Navy Federal?

My son's father and I have made an agreement about visitation and child support payments between us. The thing is he usually gives me a check, n i sign the back part and go to the bank and cash it. But I just joined his bank, and wanted to know how he can give me the child support payment fast without having to give it to me personally. He wants to make it so that he can have proof that he is paying me. We both bank at Navy Federal. Please advise. Thanks!

I have navy fed and you can easily transfer money between people who also have navy fed.

you usually can send it through like the apps and just transfere it from one account to the other. that leaves proof as well because it will show up on it what's been transferred. but if he prefers to have physically paper trail proof then checks is the only way to do that. my SO was transferring it to his ex's account when they did child support between just them and they didn't have the same bank so I'm not sure how they did that. now that's it's done through the state the person that handles how he gets paid has to take it out of his pay and send it in.
