flu shot or not?

I've only gotten the flu shot once in my life which was when I went to India in December. I am currently 29 weeks pregnant and was asked if I wanted the flu shot by my doctor. I didn't get it with my son but I was in my first trimester during the winter months. however with me being in my third trimester during the winter months this time I don't know if I should get it or pass.

I never get the flu shot and don't give it to my kids normally. But I'm freaking out about having my baby in the winter months. My doctor said that the shot does pass to the baby so that makes me feel more comfortable. I plan to get it this time because of that.

My doctor told me that the highest group of people who die from the flu each year are pregnant females... I've only had it once in my life and it was 2015 and my son was born 1/25/16. This baby is due 12/28 so will probably get it just so I can protect my pregnant self and pass the immunity on to baby.

i never get it for myself or my kids but being due in december i went ahead and got it at my last appointment to protect my lo from flu during these winter months

I got my flu shot the same time I got my TDAP shot and guess what ...... now I'm sick! 😷🤧

I'm totally against the flu shot. I have never got a flu shot before. But I will be getting it this year. My baby is due Dec 21 and I will wait until November to get the shot. It was explained to me that he shot is usually helpful for about 5 months which covers me through April and I feel like my baby is more developed by November to accept any antibodies that will be passed onto her.
