What to expect at induction

Question

I'm being induced Monday. I go to the hospital and receive cervadil at 7 pm and the Pictocin at 6am Monday. 
Can anyone tell me what to expect?

Answer

The cervadil feels like sandpaper but I didn't find it that uncomfortable. Once you dialate it can fall out when you're peeing so keep an eye on your toilet after going so you know if it's gone or not. I got an epidural right before they did the pitocin so to me it was no issue. I had my son 4 hours after the pitocin started. Cervadil at 7am, progressed to only 5 cm by 5pm, pitocin, son born at 9:39.
