Ovulation days disappeared?!

I just got the depo shot on Thursday so I went in to the app settings and changed my birthcontrol to the shot and looked at my calendar and the red circles meaning ovulation days are not there anymore...is that because I won't ovulate with the shot or is my app messed up?

Most people on depo don't even have periods because they don't ovulate. So yes, that's probably why they disappeared.

They disappear because it's nolonger a danger period for you, ovulation days only come up if your trying or not on any birth control so you roughly know when your ovulating 😁 and when to go for it or stay away haha x

Pills, shot, implant, etc prevent pregnancy by stopping ovulation.

I was on the depo for 8 years, great if you're not ttc, but I've read you can be basically infertile for up to a year after stopping. I was told by my doctor to stop getting it because it causes bone density loss. But I didn't have a period or cramps or anything! Stopped in December.

I was on depo for 6 years and I quite liked it no periods or cramps unless I was late getting them and even then the medicine wasn't fully out of my system so it was a very low chance of pregnancy. Only problem I had was my doctors only offered it in the arm gave me dead arm for a day or so and of course didn't hurt until bed time. The newer depo You do not ovulate on it at all but some women do still bleed.
