She poops ALOT like I don't ever notice her pee spots just poo all over in her cage and where she pees isn't where she sleeps but she poops where she sleeps. I'm new to being a hamster mom. Only had her a couple weeks and in the beginning her cage and herself didn't smell at all. Her cage doesn't smell like poo and I don't smell the pee when I put my face up to the cage to 'sniff test' (gross I know) but I'll catch whiffs of pee away from the cage. It's weird. I don't clean her cage once a week like they say, I clean it like every other day since she poops so much especially in her sleeping spot. How can I get her and her cage to smell better? I read online it's really bad to bathe them. She eats a seed mixture that we got as a bundle with her cage. She doesn't seem to eat much of the pellets, she really loves sunflower seeds and occasionally I give her a little bit of raw oatmeal. She also doesn't drink much water, but I'm not really sure how much water they drink, I'm assuming not much since they're so tiny. Today I just noticed her poop is green too, solid though. Is green normal? She's also a fancy hamster. Thanks in advance and sorry this is so long!
